Sigo escribiendo desde Holanda y siguen las buenas noticias. Ayer por la noche he presentado el Teaming a todos los empleados de Samhoud que ya apoyan el Teaming con su estructura y economicamente. Pero el primer paso logico era poner en marcha el Teaming en su propia empresa. Pues no han perdido el tiempo! Despues de mi charla el coordinador quería saber quién se iba a apuntar dando 1 euro al mes. La respuesta ha sido todo un record….el 100%!! Y encima el Director General Salem Samhoud confirmó que la empresa va al menos a triplicar la donación! No solo por esto, pero sino también por otras acciones que vamos a realizar conjuntamente tengo la buena sensación de que el Teaming podría crecer muy rapido en Holanda!

I keep on writing from Holland and I keep on bringing good news. Yesterday evening I presented Teaming to all the Samhoud employees, where Teaming is supported through their structure and also financially. But ocourse the first logical step was starting Teaming in their own company and they haven´t lost any time! After my presentation the coordinator wanted to know who was going to participate giving 1 euro per month and the response has been an absolute record…. 100%!! And on top of that the Managing Director Salem Samhoud confirmed that the company will a least triple the donation. Not only because of this but also because of other actions we are going to realize together I have a very good feeling hat Teaming could rise very quickly in Holland
Teaming en Holanda / Teaming in the Netherlands
Estoy en Holanda en las oficinas de la empresa Samhoud que apoyan el Teaming de muchas maneras. Acabo de tener varias reuniones con la gente que van a desarrollar el proyecto y la verdad es que las reacciones son muy positivas y prometen mucho. Pero como vamos paso por paso, lo mas importante de hoy es que en Samhoud logicamente lo primero que van a hacer es el Teaming con su equipo humano y asi serán los pioneros en Holanda para dar el buen ejemplo a otras empresas. Genial!

I am now in the Netherlands at the offices of Samhoud, the company that supports Teaming in many ways. I just had some meetings with the people who will develop the project and to be honest the reactions were very positive and promise a lot. But as always we have to go step by step, and the most important thing today is that in Samhoud logically their team of employees will do Teaming so that they are the pioneers in Holland in order to give the good example to other companies. Great!

Me contactó José Luis de la Asociación de enfermos de Alzheimer sobre el hecho que van a utilizar el Teaming para captar fondos y propone lo siguiente para difundir la idea “Con motivo de una campaña de sensiblizacion para el día Mundial del Alzheimer, con un poster que sacaremos y unos tripticos queremos aprovechar y difundir la idea tan brillante que han tenido ustedes, y adaptarla a nuestra causa en empresas que quieran colaborar con nosotros en nuestra zona la Comunidad Valenciana” Me parece genial, todo ayuda!

I was contacted by Jose Luis from the Alzheimer Association about the fact that they will use Teaming as an instrument to achieve funds and propose the following way to spread the idea: ” For the World Alzheimer Day, we will produce posters and brochures communicating your idea and adapt it to our projects towards companies that wish to collaborate in our zone of Valencia”. I think his is great, anything helps!
Cuanto mas reuniones, mejor / the more meetings, the better
Esta mañana tenia una reunión con Lourdes y Neus de la Fundación Auxilia que desarrollan unos proyectos muy bonitos y estan hablando con la empresa Carglass para que hagan Teaming para financiarlos de una manera facil. Me preguntaron si existe la posibilidad de que yo este presente en una reunión con Carglass para que explique mas detalles de Teaming. A veces recibo incluso la pregunta si cobro un fee de consultor para estar en este tipo de reuniones. Claro que no! Yo encantado en ayudar a poner en marcha el Teaming y si mis respuestas a posibles preguntas ayudan, solo espero que haya muchas mas reuniones de este tipo! Mas que nada para evitar malentendidos….. Todo el mundo siempre me puede contactar para temas de Teaming!

This morning I had a meeting with Lourdes and Neus from the Auxilia Foundation who are developing some very nice projects and they are proposing to Carglass to apply Teaming in order to easiliy finance these projects. I was asked if there is a possibility that I join them in a meeting with Carglass so that I can explain more details about Teaming. Sometimes I was even asked if I charge any consultant fee for going to these kind of meetings. Ofcourse not! I am very happy to help starting up Teaming and if my answers to possible questions help, I can only hope that there will be much more meetings like that. Just to avoid misundestandings…. everybody can always contact me for Teaming matters!
Teaming como una teoria mas / Teaming as another theory
Hoy tenia una reunión con el presidente del ICD (Instituto de Coaching y Desarollo) y los responsables de Huete&Samhoud y Betterbeyourself sobre futuras acciones conjuntas (seminarios, workshops, etc.) con el objetivo de seguir difundiendo el Teaming hacia las empresas. Estaba positivamente sorprendido que me enseñaron un nuevo folleto del ICD en que comunican sus especialidades: Inteligencia Emocional, Formación, Liderazgo, Coaching y … Teaming! Es decir ya esta puesto como una teoria mas y me parece genial porque significa que cada vez mas personas ven el Teaming como algo mas que simplemente ayudar a las ong’s atraves del trabajo en equipo….

Today I had a meeting with the president of ICD (Institute for Coaching and Development) together with the managers of Huete&Samhoud as well as Betterbeyourself about future joint actions (seminars, workshops, etc.) with the main objetive to keep on spreading Teaming towards companies. I was positively surprised when they showed me the new ICD brochure in which they communicate their specialities: Emotional Intelligence, Training, Leadership, Coaching and …. Teaming! So already put as another theory, which I think is great because this means that a growing number of people see Teaming as something more than just helping ngo’s through teamwork…
Muchas llamadas de periodistas / Many calls from journalists
Creo que nunca me han llamado tantos periodistas como hoy! Periodistas que me conocen por el Teaming y saben que trabajo para Frank Rijkaard. Por eso cada llamada era mas o menos igual …”Hola, Jil, como va el Teaming? Y por cierto …. Frank se queda en el Barça o se marcha??” Frank ya me avisó una vez que difundir un mensaje solidario no será facil porque estas noticias no venden. Tenia razon, pero la situación realmente me hace gracia. Personalmente creo que el Teaming es mucho mas importante que el futbol pero los periodistas tampoco tienen la culpa. Simplemente hacen su trabajo… por cierto mi respuesta a la pregunta ha sido “que lo único que puedo garantizar es que el Frank siempre estará con el Teaming!” Pero no creo que será un titular mañana…

I think I never got so many phone calls from journalists as today! Journalists who know me because of Teaming knowing that I also work for Frank Rijkaard. That’s why every phone call was more or less the same… “Hi Jil, how is Teaming going? And by the way … will Frank continue within Barça or will he leave? One day Frank already warned me that it will not be easy spreading a solidary message simply because this kind of news doesn’t sell. In the end he was right but honestly I think this situation is quite funny. Personally I think that Teaming is much more important than football but the journalists are not the ones to blame. They simply do their job… By the way my answer was “the only thing I can guarantee is that Frank will always be with Teaming!” But I don’t think that this will be front page news tomorrow…
Teaming.info pronto en holandés e italiano / Teaming.info soon in Dutch and Italian
Hace unos dias ya estaba muy contento recibir toda la web de Teaming traducida en holandés por Anne de la empresa Huete&Samhoud que apoyan el proyecto de muchas maneras diferentes. Y ahora encima acabo de recibir toda la web traducida en italiano por mi amiga Sandra que lo ha hecho voluntariamente en sus ratos libres. Asi que estos dias tendremos Teaming.info ya en cuatro idiomas y seguro que generará mas Teaming a nivel internacional. Muchas gracias Anne y Sandra!!

Some days ago I was already very happy to receive the entire Teaming web site translated into Dutch by Anne from the company Huete&Samhoud who are powering the project on many different ways. And on top of that I just received the complete web site translated into Italian by my friend Sandra who did this voluntary job in her free time. So within a couple of days we will already have Teaming.info in four languages and I am convinced that this will generate more Teaming on an international level. Many thanks Anne and Sandra!
Asi se empieza el Teaming / That’s the way to start Teaming
Ricard Lopez de Apsocecat (atención a personas sordas ciegas) acaba de decirme que ya tiene muy buenas reacciones en su empresa Caixa Tarragona donde esta moviendo el Teaming con sus compañeros para la asociación que el preside. Me enseñó un documento que redactó basado en el ejemplo que tenemos en la web ( http://www.teaming.info/pdf/carta_companeros.pdf ) añadiendo mas info sobre Apsocecat y ya tiene un grupo importante de compañeros en su zona que ha dado su autorización. Esta semana irá a RRHH para ponerlo en marcha y para pedir que ellos comuniquen su propuesta al resto de la empresa. Sin duda esta manera es la mejor para empezar el Teaming en una empresa grande. Arrancar en una zona o departamento y una vez en marcha ampliarlo con mas compañeros. Asi no se pierde el tiempo!

Ricard Lopez from Apsocecat (helping deaf blind persons) just informed me that he already has got very good reactions in his company Caixa Tarragona where he is moving Teaming with his colleagues for the association he is managing. He showed me a document he wrote based on the example we have at the web site ( see http://www.teaming.info/pdf/inform_colleagues.pdf ) adding more info about Apsocecat and he already has an important group of colleagues in his business area who gave their ok. This week he will visit HHRR in order to start oficially and to ask them to spread his proposal to the rest of the employees in his company. This is definitely the best way to iniciate Teaming in a big organisation. Start in a business area or at a department and once it is running extend it with more colleagues. This way no time is lost!
Mas de 1.000 contactos / More than 1000 contactos
Este fin de semana estoy trabajando en ordenar todos los contactos que tengo gracias al Teaming para que la gente de Huete&Samhoud (que me apoyan en todo lo que necesita el proyecto!) pueden construir una base de datos. Asi con el tiempo podré informar a todo el mundo interesado en el Teaming de una manera mas periodica sobre las novedades. Ahora repasando los mails de los últimos 2 años me doy cuenta que realmente ya ha habido muchisima gente que me contactaron para pedir mas información, para alguna pregunta o simplemente para decir que ya empezaron el Teaming. Si cada dia vas contactando y contestando no te das cuenta que con el tiempo ya hay una gran cantidad de personas moviendo y difundiendo la idea. De momento ya hay mas de 1000 contactos (hasta el dia de hoy ni lo sabia) concretos y veo cada contacto como una oprtunidad para mas Teaming!

This weekend I am working on putting in order all contacts I got thanks to Teaming so that the people form Huete&Samhoud (supporting anything the project might need!) can build up a date base. This way in the future I can inform everybody interested in Teaming on a periodic basis about what’s new. Only now going through the mails of the past 2 years I realise that actually so many peolple already contacted to get more info, for some questions or just to say that they are already moving Teaming. When you are contacting and answering every day you just don’t realise that in the mean time already an important number of people is moving and spreading the idea. At this moment there are already more than a 1000 concrete contacts (until today I didn’t even know that) and I see every contact as an opportunity to more Teaming!
Que pasa en Suecia? / What’s going on in Sweden?
Acabo de ver que en un dia de repente hemos tenido casi 500 visitas al blog desde Suecia! Al menos es curioso sabiendo que en este pais aun no he activado nada en concreto pero quizas otra persona lo ha hecho para mi y asi tendría que ser. Teaming lo puede hacer y difundir todo el mundo. Espero que con el tiempo veremos los primeros resultados desde Suecia!

I just saw that suddenly in one day we had almost 500 visits at this blog from Sweden! At least it is remarkable bearing in mind that I haven’t activated anything concrete in this country but perhaps someone else is doing this for me which is the way it should be. Anybody can do and spread Teaming. I hope that within some time we will see the first results from Sweden!
