Entre mis mails de esta mañana encontré una dirección curiosa … teaming@azucarera.es Resulta que en esta empresa fabricante de azucar estan moviendo el Teaming y han abierto un mail solo para coordinar este proyecto. Aparte de esto su Teaming Manager, Joaquin Navarro, también me ha invitado para hacer una charla el dia 13 de septiembre hacia un grupo de responsables de RRHH de otras empresas para difundir mas el Teaming! Gracias Joaquin! El Teaming solo necesita estos 2 pequeños esfuerzos de la gente: 1) hacerlo 2) difundirlo

Between my mails this morning I found quite a curious address …. teaming@azucarera.es Apparently in this sugar factory they are moving Teaming and they created a mail only for coordinating this project. Apart from this their Teaming Manager, Joaquin Navarro, also invited me to do a presentation about Teaming on September the 13th for a group of HR Managers of other companies in order to spread the idea. Recibí este mail de la empresa Auren en Argentina. “Buen dia!! Queríamos comentarles que hemos decidido unirnos a la propuesta del Teaming! Ustedes nos envían el logo? Como esta pregunta la recibo cada vez mas (muy buena señal!) quería decir que en el siguiente link se puede bajar los logos http://blog.teaming.info/logos/ Aparte de esto la empresa Moluanda esta trabajando en un programa para cuantificar el Teaming y en unos meses será posible que cada nuevo equipo Teaming (como Auren) introduzca sus datos y que reciba un certificado virtual de Teaming con un numero unico que se puede poner en su pagina web como si fuera un certificado Iso social…

This morning I woke up with some great news. I was called by Laura from TV3 news to tell me that they want to make a documentary on Teaming! They will do various interviews these days with persons already practicing Teaming and thanks to TV3 the idea will be spread to many more people! The “snowball” keeps on moving…
Libro Teaming en Argentina / Book Teaming in Argentina
Me alegro mucho que desde esta semana el libro de Teaming ya esta disponible en Argentina. La editorial “Del Nuevo Extremo” lo tiene publicado asi entre sus novedades http://www.delnuevoextremo.com/ Cada libro es una nueva oportunidad de que nazca un nuevo “equipo Teaming”! I am very glad that since this week the book about Teaming is already available in Argentina. Teaming solo puede crecer / Teaming can only grow
Ayer tenia una reunión con Wouter y Peter de Huete&Samhoud, la empresa que apoya el Teaming economicamente y con su estructura desde el 1 de junio. La verdad es que estoy sorprendido positivamente en que sentido estan trabajando en el proyecto tanto desde Holanda como en España. Ahora aun hay mucho trabajo donde no se ve directamente el resultado (libro traducido y ampliado en holandes, contactos nuevos de alto nivel, un programa para cuantificar el Teaming, etc) pero de aqui en unos meses seguro que veremos un “boom” gracias a este esfuerzo. Al final de la reunión Peter me dijo una cosa que es cierta y muy diferente comparado con las empresas… “lo bueno de Teaming es que siempre solo hay buenas noticias y el proyecto solo puede crecer”

Yesterday I had a meeting with Wouter and Peter from Huete&Samhoud, the company that supports Teaming financially and with their structure as from June the 1st. To be honest I am positively surprised by the way they are working on the project both from Holland as in Spain. Now there is still a lot of work where the result cannot be seen directly (translated and extended version of the book in Dutch, new high level contacts, a program to quantify Teaming, etc.) but I am sure that we will see a ”boom” in a couple of months thank to this effort. At the end of the meeting Peter told me something which is true and completely different compared to companies…”the good thing on Teaming is that there is always only good news and the project can only grow”
Como colaborar / How to collaborate
Me gusta mucho ver que cada vez mas fundaciones ofrecen el Teaming a sus socios y contactos como una opción mas para colaborar. I like very much to see that more and more foundations are offering Teaming to their members and contacts as another option to collaborate. Like for example the newsletter I received this morning from the foundation Ibo talking about Teaming the following way in point 4) http://www.fundacionibo.org/newsletter/index.php?p=2 I visited this foundation some months ago and they are doing marvellous and very concrete things!
Gran reunión en Seat / Great meeting in Seat
Siempre es bonito ver como un empleado es capaz de inciar el Teaming en una empresa aunque sea muy grande como Seat. Hablo de Oscar Rando (foto) quién aparte de trabajar para Seat también preside la fundación Gats ( http://www.gatsbaix.org/ ) y por eso hace unos meses decidió pronener el Teaming en su empresa. Ya hubo unas conversaciones anteriores, pero hoy era el encuentro clave con los maximos responsables de RRHH y los sindicatos para concretar. Ha sido genial! Todos estaban rapidamente de acuerdo y han decido mover el Teaming en Seat! Incluso ya hemos hablado de la mejor forma de comunicar (de sus 15.000 empleados solo 3.000 tienen e-mail) y la conclusión era que el Teaming siempre es posible en cualquier empresa o colectivo. Solo hacen falta un poco de energia positiva y creatividad!

It’s always very nice to see how an employee is able to initiate Teaming in a company eventhough very big such as Seat. I am talking about Oscar Rando (image) who apart from working for Seat also manages the foundation Gats ( http://www.gatsbaix.org/ ) and therefore some months ago decided to propose Teaming in his company. We have already had some conversations before but today was the key meeting with all top managers form the HR and union area in order to concrete. It has been great! All of them agreed very quickly and decided to move Teaming in Seat! We even already talked about the best way to communicate (only 3.000 of their 15.000 employees have e-mail) and the conclusion was that Teaming is always possible in any company, association or group. Only a bit of positive energy and creativity is needed!
Medicos Sin Fronteras / Doctors Without Borders
Esta tarde tenia una reunión con Rafa Carrascosa de Medicos Sin Fronteras. Ha sido muy interesante escuchar de una Ong con tanta experiencia como tienen ellos que el Teaming es una manera simple y eficiente para generar nuevos fondos para sus proyectos. Rafa es el responsable de empresas y dijo que ofrecerá el Teaming como una opción mas de ser solidario a sus contactos existentes, mientras tambien hablamos de un segmento nuevo… los colectivos que no sean compañeros de empresas! Enseñandome la sede española de Medicos Sin Fronteras Rafa me dijo que ellos tienen una misión muy sencilla: salvar vidas! Espero que con el tiempo el Teaming puede aportar algo en esta misión tan importante!

This afternoon I had a meeting with Rafa Carrascosa from Doctors Without Frontiers. It has been very interesting to learn from such an experienced Ngo as they are that Teaming is a very simple and efficient way to generate new funds for their projects. Rafa is responsible for the contact with companies and he told me that he will offer Teaming towards his existing contacts as another option to be solidary, whereas we also discussed a new segment….associations and groups not being colleagues of a company! Showing me the Spanish headquarters of Doctors Without Borders Rafa told me that they have a very simple mission: saving lifes! I do hope that in the future Teaming can contribute something to this important mission!
Grandes noticias desde Argentina / Great news from Argentina
Ya hace bastante tiempo que no hablo de las cosas increibles que esta haciendo Daniel Nicolini para el Teaming en Latino America desde Argentina. Ayer me informó que Teaming ya salió en Radio 10, el canal mas escuchado de Argentina, anunciando el evento que Daniel esta organizando a traves de su fundacion El Staff ( http://www.elstaff.org/index.php?cont=entrevistas_solidarias¬a=131&ds=0 ) para lanzar el Teaming en Latino America. Daniel y yo tenemos un contacto diario, esta poniendo en marcha el Teaming en empresas y fundaciones en diferentes paises y entre el 13 y 17 de agosto estaré en Argentina para presentar la iniciativa junto con el. Muchas gracias por la invitación, tu tiempo y energia Daniel!!

It’s already some time ago I haven’t talked about the incredible things Daniel Nicolini is doing for Teaming in Latin America from Argentina. Yesterday he informed me that Teaming was announced at Radio 10, the number 1 radio channel in Argentina, informing about the event Daniel is organising through his foundation El Staff ( http://www.elstaff.org/index.php?cont=entrevistas_solidarias¬a=131&ds=0 ) in order to launch Teaming in Latin America. Daniel and I have a daily contact, he is starting up Teaming within companies and foundations in various countries and between August the 13th and 17th I will be in Argentina to present the iniciative together with him. Thanks a lot for the invitation, your time and energy Daniel!!
Crisis=oportunidad en chino / Crisis=opportunity in Chinese
Esta tarde me he reunido con Ana Zabaleta de Las Palmas (Gran Canaria), muy activa con el Teaming desde que ha conocido la idea. Asi ya lo incluye en “la tienda” de su consultería ( http://www.zabaletaconsultor.com/ ) ofreciendo Teaming a sus clientes y contactos y encima esta dando los primeros pasos para mover el Teaming en el Corte Ingles! Hablando de cómo a veces un problema en una vida se puede convertir en algo positivo Ana me dijo una cosa interesante que no sabia. En chino la traducción de las palabras crisis y oportunidad comparten el mismo simbolo. Por algo será… Muchas gracias por todo Ana!

This afternoon I had a meeting with Ana Zabaleta from Las Palmas (Gran Canaria), very active with Teaming since she learned about the idea. For example she is including Teaming in “the shop” of her consulting company ( http://www.zabaletaconsultor.com/ ) offering Teaming to her clients and contacts and she is even moving Teaming in Spain’s biggest department store, El Corte Ingles! Talking about how sometimes a problem in any life can be converted into something positive, Ana told me something very interesting I didn’t know. In Chinese the translation of the words crisis and opportunity are sharing the same symbol. There must be some reason behind that…Thanks a lot Ana!
